A holiday in the mountains. A typically Alpine break, with only the essentials. In the middle of the skiing and hiking region of Sölden, near the Hochsölden area, you can find our self-catering establishment; Haus Maria, for families and groups of up to 24 people. You are welcome to stay there all year round, and it is located 2,090 metres above sea level, high above the Ötz Valley. Spend your skiing holiday here with us, without your car, and exactly as you like it. With authentic chalet flair and excellent connections to one of the most popular holiday regions in Tyrol.
In winter, you can see Haus Maria in a heavenly setting, surrounded by snow, at the middle of the Sölden-Hochsölden ski region, right on the slopes. The perfect place for all skiing fans and snow-lovers, who like to make the first imprints in the fresh snow of a morning, and wish to enjoy the mountains of an afternoon for longer than anybody else. In summer, Sölden’s Bike Republic is not far away. The best tracks and trails begin practically at the front door, as do some of the most beautiful hiking routes across the Alpine pastures, up to the majestic world of the 3000-metre-tall mountains.
In true Tyrolean style, all of the rooms are conveniently equipped with satellite TV and running water. Some of the rooms also have a shower or bathroom. In addition, there are three more toilets on the half floors. Some of the rooms have their own balcony. Furthermore, there is also a small communal kitchen, a living room, a ski cellar, and a sunny terrace with a magnificent panoramic view over skiing area of Sölden.
On request you can book breakfast for your whole group in the restaurant Sonnblick (about 50 meters away). Please contact the Sonnblick team two days in advance between 9 am and 5 pm by phone on +43 (0) 5254 20032.
Or you can have the local bakery deliver fresh bread to the edge of the slopes each day.
The holiday home is located right on the ski slopes, without a connecting road. You will spend your days here far removed from the chaos and traffic noise, and can truly relax in a natural setting, without a car. During your stay, you can park your car at the free car park in Hochsölden, and then walk the short way from the car park to the holiday home. During winter in Hochsölden, you can find two skiing schools, and sports shops offering ski hire and ski passes. These businesses close during summer. You can get everything you need in Sölden, which is 6 kilometres away and accessible by car.
